Design of phoeniX: A RISC-V Platform for Approximate Computing

The phoeniX project was initiated in the summer of 2023 at the Electronics Research Center of Iran University of Science and Technology. Led by two academic research laboratories, Super Computing and Networking (SCaN) Research Lab and the Circuit Design Research Lab, the primary objective of this project is to design a foundational processor for architectural research and development especially for the emerging field and concept of approximate computing.
Dr. Ali Akbar Jalali is going to be awarded the "Dr. Notghi Prize" for his continuous effort in the field of ICT. This prestigious award will be presented to Dr. Jalali on Aban 22nd in the "International conference Hall of IRIB". Dr. Notghi was the public relation's pioneer in Iran and his award goes to those who havae noticable achievements in this area.
In a lettersigned by IUST's president on 1388/04/24, Dr. Sattar Mirzakuchaki became the manager of IUST's Electronic Research Center for the next two years.
The Institute for Trade Studies & Research published its book entitled “Ways to Extend Service of the Virtual Trade Point” in Persian. This book is based on the research conducted by Dr.jalali.
"High performance low-voltage QFG- based DVCC and a novel fully differential SC integrator based on it" has been Published in "IEICE 2008 Electronics Express" Journal. Its author is Dr.azhari.
